Faux Leather Shoes

I'm currently in nursing school, and I unfortunately need leather nursing shoes for my clinicals. I need something that would work as an imitation, and my instructor let me know that this would be fine after I let her know that I was vegan.

Any recommendations? I'm male, and the shoes must also be white. Anything from $50 to $100 would be fine.

Thanks,

The shoes that I just bought for school are synthetic leather. They are mens/womens. Adidas Stan Smith 2. The description on zappo's website says full grain leather upper, but the tag on my shoe says synthetic leather upper. Many of the reviews also mention that they are synthetic leather now. http://www.zappos.com/adidas-originals-stan-smith-2-white-white

Interesting. I'll consider it. I'm also considering Crocs -- if not that, then a pair of their canvas shoes should work.

Stay away from canvas - they wont be white for long. Also think of if anything wet hits them it will soak through... just a thought. Good luck on your search. Try Birkenstocks- I'm pretty sure they have a vegan line.

Yes, my instructor corrected me about having shoes with canvas material -- must be solid, no holes, no canvas material, and cannot be slip-ons. I'll see what my shoe store has in stock sometime next week, and report back.
