university of South Alabama FNP

I have applied to USA FNP program about 2 months ago, I I still have not heard from them, anyone else still waiting?

I'm still waiting too. I applied to the post-masters adult/gero track. Previously a person posted that she spoke to someone at the school and letters were to be mailed on June 1. The wait is killing me.

Me too  I want to know one way or another. Good Luck!

I am also waiting to hear if I got into the WHNP program. 2 months is long wait :uhoh3:

Not sure about USA NP though -been reading mixed reviews about the program.

I know one person that completed the PNP program in December. She thought the program was good, had no problems, or had any difficulty passing boards. So... I'm not sure what to think.

A program is only as good as the person enrolled in it... A lot of the best practitioners out there make their way just as well through supplementing what they've learned through self-study.. sometimes its not what you learn, but how well you are at learning it.

So different people will have different perspectives on this program. Self-study is not for everyone.

I agree -my BSN B&M program in 1994 wasn't extremely difficult but several students failed out. All schools have good and bad aspects. I know after I graduated I never wanted to see another nusing care plan. In fact working in community health /family planning we never use care plans. So take what you need from school- most knowledge is from actual experience at work.
