Discouraged In NY

I feel helpless. I understand Chem I when we do it in class, when I do it with my tutor and even when I do it alone with my book open...the second I close my book I don't have ANY idea what to do.

On top of that I screwed up my first A&P test. When I was going to college the first time around, I didn't go for PT/OT because I was afraid of the sciences. Now that I decided to go back for my BSN....I'm screwing up in the classes I was afraid of the first time around.

Maybe this isn't for me? I don't want to quit. A&P I know what my mistake is and I'm doing everything I can to change that and bring up my average. But chem seems like an impossible hurdle for me. I really don't see myself getting a B in it, which is what I need.

Any words of advice? Should I give up my dream of going into an aBSN program and just get into an RN program and then hopefully eventually do a RN-BSN or a RN-MSN bridge program?
