Need some info about voice recorders for class....
Can any of you that have used voice recorders for class give me some advice as to which ones are the best and which ones to stay away from?
I've been looking at them on the internet, and I just can't really tell which ones would be the best.....digital or cassette? Do the voice activated ones REALLY start to record when someone speaks, or have you had any trouble with them? What about the ones that use cassettes? Is it any better to have the cassette kind?
Also, when a digital recorder says it has a max of 3 hrs recording time, then what do you do when you have recorded your three hours? Do you move your recording to a folder and then you an start all over with more recordings or what?
Can you tell I'm confused??? Also, for those of you that have used recorders.....do you feel that it has helped you a lot as far as retention and getting the most out of your lectures?
