Who out there did a contract with a group or hospital?

If you don't mind, would you PM me and give me some specifics. I have to come up with a proposal for the chief of anesthesia (who is backing me heavily) and the CEO of the hospital next thursday.

i contracted approx the 10th month of my program

great deal

up to 50k - prorated over 27 months - so i will total only about 35k because i didn't sign on till the 10th month of my program

so i get approx 5k every 3 months after my directed sends a confirmation of my satisfactory clinical/didactic status - it is a forgivable loan as long as i fulfill my 3 yr contract - they also have a 27??k contract for a 2 yr commitment

no wkends/holidays/oncall unless you want to and then it is 95$/hr

FT in hospital or surgicenter or PT in both

it is also written in the contract that if the starting salary is increased - those of us contracted to work automatically get that salary... i couldn't find a better deal out there...

Did somebody actually approach you with this offer or did you look for them? And where in Maryland will you be working, if you don't mind me asking?

Sandman, Probably a little late, but I was offered $50,000 for 5 year committment plus a $30,000 interest free loan through school, payable after employment starts, they doc income over the payback time. Call q6-8 weekend, third beeper, it is a group of 10 anesthesiologists. No trauma, no ICU, some OB, mostly b&b. hope you landed a great deal.

no - i searched gasworks - pulled off jobs in the area i wanted to work - and asked about offers... i was lucky that the hospital had just started this deal - and it was the best i found - i did interview at 4 other places and they just couldn't offer the up front money - nor the great schedule...

i live in northern maryland and will be working in york pa...

and the contracted deal is no wkends/nocall/noholiday
