CPNE Nov 11-13 at SRMC...anyone else?

I'm scheduled for the CPNE on November 11-13 at SRMC in Atlanta, GA. Anyone else going these dates? I'm TERRIFIED :chair: and would love to get to know someone else who would be there the same dates! Also, any tips or peoples' experiences from here would be more than welcome, especially since I can't afford to take a workshop. Thanks to all and God bless!

I'm taking the CPNE September 23-25 at NTHS in Amarillo. I'm scared to death as well, and while I can't afford a conference, I figured I couldn't afford not to go. So, I'm scraping up the nearly $800 it takes to go through the workshop from Chancellor's.

I took the CPNE in Racine a couple of years ago...best advice is to be thoroughly prepared....and STAY CALM!!! I seriously think that your nerves getting the best of you can be your down fall. I had a wonderful experience in Racine. Everyone was fair and you felt as if they really did want you to succeed. I am sure that both of your experiences will be just as good. Good luck both of you!!!

The CPNE is the clinical practice nursing exam. It's the clinical part of the Excelsior nursing program

It is the clinical performance in nursing exam. It is not a practice exam but a real exam, in a real hospital, with real patients. It is a very doable exam. Good luck to all you furure CPNE takers!

:) You're absolutely right, DYatesRN...And I'm getting ready to take it, so you'd think I'd remember what it's called...must have been a combination of "brainfart" (sorry...so crude, I know), and being a "Practical" nurse too long! lol. Thanks.

Jennifer, soon to be RN (I hope!)
