Be Sure to Double Check Your NursingCAS Application!

Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone utilizing NursingCAS to apply to a nursing program: Be sure to review your completed application after it is "verified", to ensure there are no errors. My application was verified in 4 days (unheard of, I know) and on a whim later that evening I decided to review my completed application generated by NursingCAS to see what they calculated my GPA as and what exactly was being sent to my program of choice. Lo and behold, one of the courses I took as Pass/Fail course was listed as a C- and not the "CR or P" that it should have been (it appears as a CR on my official transcript but I manually entered it into NursingCAS as a P). This error most likely occurred during the verification process and was still "verified" regardless of the fact it did not match the official transcripts they have. Unfortunately, this lowered my calculated GPA, which was submitted to to the university admissions office prior to me catching it. I'm now having to do damage control to ensure that the university receives my actual GPA. I just wanted to let everyone know not to put complete faith in the "Verified" status and ensure that your program is getting accurate information. I would hate for it to occur to someone and cost them a shot at a great program!

Nursingcas make mistake on GPA and still defend it wow. Please try to submit your application via university and avoid nursingcas at all cost because it will not do any good for student using this system that makes damage to their application
