I applied to the program to start in May 2018. Have been invited to interview in June, but no idea what their interview is like. I've read on other posts that it is laid back. Hoping to get some more insight.

Hi goalieccrn, congrats and I too got an interview coming up. Did you go to their gran rounds? I was told about it, but could not get the time off to go. Also what area are you? I got a friend who graduated from the program a year ago and he said its really laid back. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I think anyway I can help I will since we may end up being classmates.
Hey along2708, congrats to you as well on the invite! I did not make it to grand rounds, I am down in Texas so trying to get up there wasn't going to happen. My back ground is MICU but currently, I am working the PICU. The joys of military, go where they need you haha. At the moment, my only questions are; what should I expect in the interview? Is it very clinical based or more get to know you based? I don't know if you know but maybe your friend can shed some light. I look forward to meeting you on interview day and possibly in class.
I can give you more. I cant PM, but I am told its laid back. You are currently active duty? I have a buddy stationed there right now, well many who are still there and know a few instructors there both crna and such. I dont know we can change info here. My email is unsername in google mail. You are smart think you can figure it out.
hahaha this is a small world, I am in the military as well. Congrats to you guys and guess it will be one big military family. I just checked my mail, and I got an interview. I agree with along2708 I have no real way to PM anyone and I too know a vet in the program now. I can also give updates. Okay along I will shoot you an email think I can figure it out as well and we can share military stories. Good luck to you two. I know all about the needs of the army. In two years I worked in about 7 departments. Anyway I heard the same that its laid back and not to stress.
