WSU BSN Fall 2023

Hi everyone, 

I applied for Washington State Universities BSN program for Fall of 2023 ( tri cities location) and I am finding the wait just excrutiatingly difficult. Anyone else in the same boat? Im worried about my GPA a bit. I have a 3.8 overall & 3.6 science, but I have like 30,000 hours in experience as a medical assistant and an EMT and I'm crossing my fingers that it will overpower my GPA. TEAS score was 81%

I am applying to tri-cities too! I got an interview so I'm hopeful but oh so nervous. The wait has been excruciating already and now it's even worse ?

@WeCanWeWill2023 I agree! although now that interviews are done, it feels like at least everything within my control is completed. So now we wait and wait

Does anyone know when we can expect decisions? I've seen a couple different things out there.

@Tcsthompson the only info I have is what is on the site for timeline. Committee meets to select admission on April 21 & decisions emailed on the 28th. I would assume we could hear anytime after the 21st. Curious what other dates you have heard? I'm so antsy

Same. I just have the timeline on the website. April 28th! Marked in my calendar. But I did get my interview email a couple days ahead of the timeline (March 1st instead of the 3rd). So I'm hoping admissions info comes quicker too!

I see that now in the website! Thanks for the info. Really glad I looked as I had no idea transcripts for Winter quarter we're due April 7th!

I saw "near the end of April" in one email and then thought I saw 3 to 4 weeks post interview on Kira Talent. Totally forgot about the timeline on the website and didn't realize it had the decisions dates posted there. I feel you, it is easy to get antsy during this sit and wait period.
