Would appreciate any help!

Hi everyone!

I am a Registered Nurse, moved from Russia to California awhile ago, and right now preparing myself for the RN exam to get my California license. Meantime, I would like to find work as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). Do I have to pass another exam? Can I just start working as a CNA based on my credentials from Russia? Do I need an official letter from the Board of Registered Nursing or any other Board?

I would appreciate replies from anyone who went through a similar experience or has any knowledge on how to go about it.
