I'm working in a low resource setting taking care of children infected with HIV, and I have the opportunity to acquire some resources to address some gaps to our care. I am posting this thread to get some advice from more experienced nurses on several issues:
-What materials do I need to set up CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure)? Many of our children die from respiratory failure and would benefit greatly from non-invasive partial pressure support.
-Accurate fluid administration is a common problem here, especially with infants. What infusion pump would you recommend? Would a buratrol be a good choice?
Thanks for the advice.
