Hi my name is Kristina.
I want to become a nurse more than anything. I always have had this dream...
I was a c average student in highschool...
Im in my first year of university and I am taking upgrading courses....
I am taking English which i feel I will get an A in ...
I am taking Chemistry which i have a very low mark in ... almost failing
and math which is am passing but barely...
now I am going to retake these courses this summer to improve my mark..
If i do so and I get high b's or A's will I even be considered because Im retaking courses over... ? I live in canada, B.C.
and the nursing program is so competitive here.
Do I even stand a chance at getting into the RN program?
I had a sister diagnosed with cancer at a young age so I have a strong background of the hospital experience, now will that help me at all or does it not matter?
and how do people evaluate you.. i heard that alot of people fail human anatomy so should I study for it now before i enter the course so i have a basic knowledge of it ?

You should consider looking at Douglas's criteria. They evaluate you on a point system where grades are subsidiary.
