I have been looking at different nursing programs for Fall 2015 and hearing different opinions about them. I wanna hear opinions from people who are IN the nursing programs around Phoenix. I am looking at GCU, the NAU concurrent program with CGCC, and other ones to look for the best option. I wanna know the cost, how the teachers are, how to get in (waiting, test, and GPA) and the schedule. This would be really helpful! Thank you!:)

All of this can be found on each of the school websites if you do just a little research. I know as far as the CCs go, its roughly $7000 from start to finish (after pre reqs), plus whatever the universities charge per credit hour. This cost and all of the CC traditional and CEP options can easily be found at nursing.maricopa.edu. GCU was my second option, but I dont remember cost and all that jazz, but that info can also be found on GCUs website. Their tuition section has an area just for nursing majors with the cost laid out. You can also call the advisers at each school to get correct info. GL
Also, schedule varies by school and by semester. So unless you get an evening/weekend option, the schedule will change every semester drastically.

GCU! LOPES UP! I am almost done with my first semester at GCU ( Tucson Campus) I absolutely love it! The instructors are amazing and the since of pride and community really makes all the difference to me. The tuition is a little high just like any 4 year...roughly $40,000 for a 16 month BSN program. Best part NO WAIT LIST! You have to take the Hesi and there is no min score required ( I scored a 76) and you must maintain a 3.00 GPA in your Pre-reqs (I had a 3.4 overall and a 3.6 science). I have not heard any bad things about the CC's, or NAU,ASU,or UofA. The only schools I would be careful about are PMI and some of the smaller private schools, do your research before signing your name down. :-) Good luck
Oh okay, thank you for all the info!! I'm really considering the GCU fast track program at AT Still campus here at Mesa. I heard a few bad reviews about the CGCC nursing program and I don't know about others. I still need to do more research and I need to take the HESI test too. Idk how competitive it is at AT Still though.. Ahh this is so stressful!
