Ok, I was hoping that I could find this on here, but everything I've read so far is not quite the answer I'm looking for.
I already have a bachelor's degree and want to apply for an accelerated nursing program. I'm looking at Pace, NYU, Hunter, Columbia University, and Mount Sinai Beth Israel
They all have their own pre-requirements for their programs, but for the most part they're pretty similar.
The plan is to get them out the way starting in the spring at BMCC, but I am so confused by all the science courses they offer!
So, my question is what classes did you take at BMCC that were accepted at the colleges above?
For instance, did you take che 121 and 122 or 201?
If you've done this before please give me some insight. Thank you!

Hi, check this link out, it shows articulations BMCC has with the 4 year colleges. hope this helps. https://www.bmcc.cuny.edu/academics/advisement/articulation-agreements/nursing-articulation-agreement/
I would also go to those colleges and have your transcript evaluated since you are looking for the Accelerated programs, that way, you know exactly what will be accepted.
Thank you for responding!
I think the issue is, I'm not going for a degree program so the articulation agreements won't work for me.
But I think you're right, I need to reach out to the colleges and see which courses are accepted. The fact that bmcc offers so many is really mind blowing. I almost feel like I would be better off attending a senior college to avoid that headache. Hah
True. The thing is, you won’t know which ones will be accepted at the schools you’re looking into. Take for example, I took the stat and math for health sciences at a diff. School but I had to take a similar class at BMCC because they only accept a specific math, etc. You’d really need to narrow down which schools’ accelerated program you are wanting to enter primarily and then make appointments so they can evaluate your credits.
Also, if you do want to take pre reqs. At BMCC, you can go to the transfer office there, they can help see what classes are accepted in other colleges around the city.Good luck!
This is so true. I hate that. It really makes you feel like you're throwing money away.
Honestly, I'm looking at Pace the most and after that NYU and Columbia.
Thank you for the advice! I will go to the transfer office to confirm.
I found the information I was looking for! If anyone is ever in the same boat you can message me and I will pass it on! I'm so excited to get started!!
