Hi everyone!
I'm looking into doing the Integrated Science Program at Southern California University of Health Sciences for my nursing prerequisites (anatomy and physiology I & II, microbiology). This school is WASC accredited.
I've been calling nursing programs all day to find out if they accept these classes, and so far I've only gotten a definite yes from Riverside City College.
Has anyone attended this program, and where were you able to transfer to? Or does anyone just know which nursing schools accept these classes??
Thanks so much!

I'm looking into this school also. My understanding is if they are WASC accredited then they should be accepted at any school....
That's what they say, but every school has their own way of doing things, so you have to double check. I've been calling all the nursing programs in the area and many I'm still waiting to hear back from. Saddleback is the only one I know of that does NOT accept these classes.

I am also considering it. I am in Ventura county, so looking at either Moorpark, CSUCI or Ventura. CSUCI is my first pick. I am calling them to find out how to check on transferring. Plus, remember that youcan transfer any WASC approved college course to another school BUT it does not mean that the class specifically qulifies as the pre-requisit for that school. I have other courses (20 years ago) from a CA community college that transfer but don't meet the requirements for pre-reqs. Make sure to ask if they meet the pre-req not if they xfer. GL and let me/us know if any get specifics. I may also call SCUHS for their info or contacts at the school to see if they have any agreements we can reference.

Hi Hannah,
I am a former ISP student and they are WASC accredited. My units transferred and I was just accepted into WGU pre-licensure BSN program. ISP classes are not easy but most of students that go to the weekend classes are very determined to succeed. I learned a lot and their are some great professors there. They are expensive but since I couldn't get classes the traditional way, this was the best alternative. Hope that helps!
