I dont know where to start I found a CC that offers the program and I know I have to go vist to talk to someone, and I will admit Im nervous and scared because I feel like a fish out of water this is all so new to me. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I can relate, as you can see by my profile picture, a fish out of water. I'm 37, with 3 kids and I have an AS in medical assisting. I start my LPN program on Monday at eastern Suffolk Boces. They have an 11 month program that you attend mon-fri 8-230 or a 17 month program that goes along with a typical school year, the first year is mon-thurs 630-10 and the second year (sept only til march) is mon-fri 8-230. I've heard wonderful things about the Boces program and I know there are a lot of different locations. I hear any where you take it, it's intense. I'm nervous but motivated. I hope I helped, you probably want to hear from a grad or a student ready to finish though. Well good luck to you and don't let your nerves keep you from doing anything!
