I'm now in a BSN program. When should I start to apply NP school? Should I wait until I passed the Neclex and get the RN license or I can start before I get the license? I saw a few schools need license when applying for their programs? Thanks!

I actually applied to NP school the spring semester when I was finished up my MSN-RN program. I did a general masters degree. I was allowed to apply even before I graduated and way before I had my license. I was accepted for that fall semester, however, I decided to wait until that January to start NP school because I was orientating for a new job and it worked out for the best as I had some personal issues going on that fall semester.
Anyways, I would find out from the NP school you plan on attending what their policy is and if it's ok, you can apply the semester before you start. Most schools have a rolling admissions process, which you can apply anytime. Just know that when you start your masters program, you will be extremely busy especially if you continue to work full-time. It's very hard to do NP clinicals and work full-time. Good luck with your studies!
Thanks for the reply! I'll check the school I'm interested about their policy.
Did you study full-time and work full-time? I know it's very hard to do so. I'm just worried that if i want to study full time, is it possible to find a part-time job for a new graduate? I heard it's more difficult to find a part-time position for new RN.
