Nurses General Nursing

Hi fellow nurses, I have been a RN-ADN for two years, I started out in LTC and hated it because it was a very unsafe environment with heavy patient load, bad managemt, I then did PRN Correctional nursing atleast 3 days a week for 2 months, I tried to get into a hospital because I thought that would be my dream job, but instead I landed a LTC 6 months temporary job until the nurse came back from the army, at that time I was finally able to start working at a brand new hospital as a full time nights nurse. I was thrilled however I soon discovered night shift was not for me and hospital work besides awesome benefits really weren't what people say it is. Patients acuities are high and needy and if you work with horrible nurses who don't know what team work is you're really screwed. I stayed for 7 long months and decided to go back to LTC because they would give me 4 eight hour shifts with no benefits but I was desperate to get out of nights. I'm back here in LTC knowing this is not where I want to be but the patients and staff are awesome other than no benefits of any type and my family and I would benefit more if we had them, now my old manager from the hospital is saying if I want to go back to full time days because I decided to stay since it was so hard to get into the hospital I didn't quit but stayed PRN, I don't know what to do. I see the pros and cons of both, having a set schedule working with awesome staff but hospital work is hell on a medical surgical floor for all you nurses who think it's awesome, but I would have awesome benefits, not a set schedule, and I am one or only Hispanic nurse on a non diverse floor, what's your guys opinion please Im open to suggestions??????????
