What is the IMC unit?

I interviewed for a LPN position at a hospital not too long ago but I have no idea what you do on this floor. The nursing supervisor wasn't very clear about what my role would be. Anyone know?

It could be the Intermediate Care Unit. A step-down unit from ICU. Probably a lot of heart monitors, telemetry. Not sure what your specific roles would be though....
