Hello. I know this is probably a very common topic that members here post, but I am aspiring to become a crna and am curious about my chances and ways to become a better candidate for school.
Experience: 1 year med/surg out of school and then transferred to CCU/MICU in level II trauma center and have been there for 1 yr
CCRN: obtained recently
GRE: 159Q 154V 4.5writing
GPA: 3.88 from BSN program
took 6 DNP research grad classes with a 3.8 gpa
I've recently started to shadow an anesthesiologist (being that there are no crnas in my facility) and am learning so much about the anesthesia profession. I'm interested in the CRNA program at Rutgers, UPenn, and Duke. So far, I've only applied to Rutgers. In addition to my chances, I was wondering if I could get an idea of how these programs are. Also, is there anyone else out there applying to Rutgers?
