weekend shift?

What are the chances of getting a cna job that just works weekends?? Im very busy all week with my kids so I csn only work fri night, sat. and sun. I desperately need a job. I called 2 nursing homes and one said no they dont hire part time or just weekends and the other said fill out app.

Try a hospital per diem position and give them your availability as weekends only. They will love you! They are always short on the weekends.

Look up patient care tech. Patient advocate. Nursing assistant. As well as CNA. There are many names for that one position. Even look up companion or patient sitter which will place you with patients who need close observation and you can actually get homework done while working sometimes.

I think it depends on where you live. Where I'm at there is a lot of people that want to just work weekends because of the shift differential. The staff that has worked there for years that want the weekends are SOL because they would not be able to cover there off days and keep staffing numbers up to where they want them.

I know a lot of people that work through care.com on the weekends or pick up a few 4 hour shifts during the week.

You can try home health. I got hired with no experience b/c they desperately needed someone to work Fri and weekends. Apparently home health gets really busy during the weekends.
