Wayne state CRNA 2016

Published

Hello all, anyone interview? Heard back? Stats?

Mine: 1 yr icu, 3.5ish gpa, 4.0 sciences, stats, orgo, acls, bls, pals, ccrn, GRE 320s.

Interview was ok, unsure, but I really liked some of the faculty, seemed down to earth.

Anyone else?

You won't hear back till after Nov 3, that's the last day of interviews, last year they let people know the last day of interviews and a day or two after.

Hey, what kind of questions did they ask during your interview? Haven't applied but plan to next year.

Wayne started calling acceptances today! I got in as did two others I know of...as for interview questions they're the pretty standard why CRNA, what have you done to prepare/know you want this, name a hard clinical situation, name a situation where you had a disagreement with a coworker, asked about grades and education, no real clinical questions, just a clinical scenario at the end after the panel interview.

I also took the liberty of making a facebook group like past classes have done for those admitted: Wayne State Nurse Anesthesia Class of 2018 if you look on facebook.

Anyone also get accepted at OU?

I know OU filled their class already and notified alternates, I work on a unit that sends 12-15 people every year between all the schools, and a mass email went out to everyone who was called and accepted their spots at OU...however if you were notified as an alternate there is still a chance as several people got into both and are currently deciding since deposits weren't sent in yet.

Hi guys! I am going to have an interview for Wayne state 2022 via zoom. I have had 2 interviews with 2 differnt schools and got rejected. I suffer from anxiety so sometimes I do tend to either stutter or go blank… any feedback? Is it more clinical or personality based? Anything would be greatly appreciated, thank you??

also, those in the program… do you enjoy the program so far?
