Was Kaplan worth it?

Yesterday, 7-6-17 I took my NCLEX-PN exam. A little background from me, I recently graduated the LPN program from a small community college in Virginia in May. I went part-time for 2 years. 2 days a week which worked out well for me and my busy schedule. I found out this morning that I passed my NCLEX and I could not be happier!

With that being said, I wanted to shine some light on future PN testers and answer any questions that I encountered during this experience.

Starting off, Kaplan for me was amazing. I know everyone has their own opinions about what works for them and what doesn't, but for me I don't know that I would have been as prepared for the NCLEX without Kaplan. In school it was a requirement that we bought Kaplan as we had assignments that we had to complete for a class grade. It already helped having the foot up and completing some of the Kaplan assignments through school.

Honestly, I didn't study as hard as I should have, as I was enjoying summer break a little too much I only started studying for the NCLEX 2 weeks in advance, which I don't recommend, but I am notorious for procrastination. Even though I didn't study as much as I should have I wanted to give you my qbank grades from the tests that I had taken through Kaplan before taking the NCLEX and hopefully help some others feel more positive about passing.

QBank 1: 51.76

QBank 2: 55.29

Qbank 3: 57.65

Qbank 4: 56.47

Qbank 5: 48.24

Qbank 6: 52.94

All in all, I personally really loved Kaplan and the practice tests and am thrilled with the results. I wish any future NCLEX-PN test takers the best of luck!!
