Wanted to say hello.

Hello ladies and gentlemen. I was just catching up on the latest threads and wanted to say I'm glad to see that everyone is doing well and anxious to start classes. My hubby and I farmed out the kids and went on a nice little vacation ALONE! It was great. I'm relaxed and bright eyed and bushey tailed once again. I did not realize how badly I needed a vacation until I went on one. For anyone wanting to take a nice break before the fall session starts, St. Augustine, Florida is very nice this time of year and there is a great winery to tour there now! I will be starting pharm over the summer - that is why I took vacation now, but I hope ya'll get a chance to relax before your clinicals start. How exciting!

I was wondering where you disappeared to! :) When is the latest that you would hear from the alternate list you're on?

Glad to hear that all is well! I'm heading off to Cali in June for a break -- I'm really looking forward to it! Vacation is so important before nursing school starts, it sounds like!!! :)

Hey there. UTMB's letter stated that if I did not hear anything by August 6th, then I would need to reapply next year. I'm not holding my breath though. I'm taking pharm at HCC and if UTMB call, then I'll do REALLY well in their pharm class! ;)

Gotcha. I feel pretty much the same about my "waiting list chances". It felt good to go ahead and make alternate plans though just so I feel like I'm still doing something towards getting to the ultimate goal.

Glad to hear you got to take a little break! You deserve it!
