Waitlist for RN Program College of San Mateo

Hi everyone! I'm an LVN and applied for the 2nd yr RN Program at CSM. I was on #10 on the waitlist and received an email last week stating I moved up to #4. I attended orientation and out of the top 5 waitlisted, only 3 of us showed up. And, I was told 12 RN students in the 1st yr failed. And half of the LVN's accepted have not submitted their TEAS score. I hope I find out if I get in this week. What do you think my chances are? Is there anyone else waiting too? Let me know your thoughts.

Just wanted to update this post and inform you all that I received acceptance into the CSM RN Program a few weeks after I posted my original comment. And, I'm happy to say that I graduated this past June! #CSMRNalumni :)

Hi I recently applied to the program as well and got waitlisted as number 6 but they said only 2 people failed this year. I know the semester hasn't ended yet. When did you hear back that you got in?

mshllav,

I know this is an old post, but I'm wondering how long did it take for you to hear back anything? I'm patiently waiting to hear.

Hear back for the lvn? They tell you your waitlist number in end of May but if you never get called they don't really talk to you again lol

HEY i replied earlier but not sureif it went through so sorry if this is repetition. So I got the waitlist number around mid-end May then nothing opened up so I actually called them back and they said sorry no one dropped out so they didn't take any waitlist people.

ahhh! That's frustrating. So did you ever find a program?
