Waiting on eligibility

How long did you have to wait for your school of nursing to send in your verification?

I graduated over two weeks ago and as of Friday afternoon our Dean had yet to submit our graduation verifications. I would like to schedule a test date soon so I can plan my study time better. What is this the usual amount of time for the college to submit this info to the board of nursing in your state.

I had this same problem with my school. I don't know the time, but they should send it ASAP. What I did was send my finger prints and everything to get my Criminal Background started. This is the longest part(about 6 weeks). Then I paid for the licesure and Pearsonvue while I was waiting, and 3 days after the DEAN sent the info, I received m ATT. Just do what YOU CAN until they do there PART. Nurse ROZY

Thank you Nurse Rozy. It has been fustrating because everything on my end (money, backround checks) was cleared and ready to go on March 3 and here it is April 3. Just this one last piece (which is out of my control) that I am waiting on.

It is good to have company and know others have experienced this too. I was beginning to wonder if it was just my Dean that was a pain.

Listen to my story and your own wont seem so bad. I graduated 12-23-05, went on vacation 1 week. My school didn't send my paperwork in until

1-12-06. Received my ATT 2-16-06 and tested on 4-3-06. I am waiting results now however, I live in California and cannot get instant results. I must wait 4-6 weeks. I am going crazy, bored to death and wanting to work as a Nurse. I love it! But it has only been 3 days (OH MY GOODNESS)

Oh my, I am sorry to hear you have to wait so long, especially for results. We only have to wait approx. a week and a half for mailed results (free) or we can pay and get phone or web results in about 48 hours.

BTW, I got my ATT yesterday. :)
