Va hiring process

Does anyone have any info on the VA hiring process? I recently had an interview with a nurse recruiter and it went well...I was told the next step is to expect a call from HR with a conditional offer but it's been a week and I haven't heard anything yet...should I reach out to the nurse recruiter or just be patient?

    I can tell you now that the VA has a very long process. My best friend currently working there and she said it can take 4 weeks to months to hear from them. They are notoriously slow
