I work as a UM case management nurse for an insurance company. Loved it. I always thought, and was told that a BSN was required. Recently, we had our salaries changed from annual salary to hourly, and our titles changed from case manager to reviewer. We have been assigned break and lunch times. Now we see there is a job posting in a different division of our company for LPN/LVN UM/CM reviewers for about ½ our newly assigned hourly wages.
Has anybody seen this ? Is this a new trend? Any insight would be appreciated.
