could use some advice

Hi im a current college student who is freaking out because she got a C in her statistics class. I am so scared because i hear nursing doesn't take in students with c grades at all or at least not anymore. Nursing has always been my dream and my gpa was a 3.6 now its a 3.2 i can build it back up no problem but I'm scared it won't matter. Is there any chance they will accept me even with that C???

You can speak with someone in academic advising at the schools you are thinking of attending. See what is said from the 'horses' mouth. Also, you could take statistics again and achieve a better outcome (if that's something your willing to do).

Thanks for you're advice but I don't think my college lets you take classes you technically passed again

Hello! I did see that someone posted a law that in Florida as long as you pass a class, you are not able to retake it again. I finished with a C in Statistics today, but for my school it is not considered a prereq. I would definitely check that out with whatever school you choose.

i've never heard that before. check on that with the school or advisor, I think you might be able too. several students all the time take classes again because they have gotten a C for a higher grade.

Plus since you already took the material, the second time around it should be a bit easier. Good luck!
