USA NNP program

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone on here has attended University of South Alabama's NNP school, know anyone who has or is currently in the program now. I'm interested in applying for the Summer 2010 semester and was wondering if I could ask those who are familiar to this program some questions, such as:

-What do you like/don't like about the program?

-If you are doing the distance learning online program, how often did you have to visit the college?

-Is tuition the same as for in-state?

-Is the GRE required?

Any comments and suggestions are welcome! thanks so much!!!!:nurse:

hi nicurn04,

-i like a lot of things about usa especially with the fact that it’s online and it requires only 45credit hours for you to graduate whereas other schools require between 54-72credit hours for graduation (psy np). what i don’t like is that there is quitea bit of paper writing unfortunately it’s a graduate thing because i attended atraditional program before transferring to usa and it was exactly the same.

-yes i am doingthe online program, visiting the college depends on your specialty, for psy, weare required to visit once a year as from your second year. pls visit the link for details http://www.southalabama.edu/nursing/msn.html

-yes the onlinetuition is the same as the in-state.

-gre is notrequired.

hope this helps.
