University of Washington ID-ANP program

I am seriously considering the University of Washington Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner program. I currently work (RN) on a transplant floor. Anyone gone through this program or heard about it? Would this be better than other programs in preparing for advance practice? Just looking for some input to help guide my grad school selection. Thanks!

I don't know what other programs you are considering, and I haven't been through this particular program at UW, but I can tell you UW has an excellent reputation in nursing and medicine.

Sucky football team, however. You may want to factor that in.

U-DUB! I definitely agree about the health sciences being exceptional. Their programs are ranked consistently in the top percentile of the country. I also work at UWMC and have to say that many find the work environment to be very agreeable.

Also concur about the football team...:zzzzz

But UW volleyball is doing well.
