are these the same? when looking through hospital jobs(almost done with my cna program, and hopeful) that i am able to work in a hospital without first having to go through ltc. i am working on pre-reqs for nursing, so i am hoping that will help. but anyways my question, is there a difference between unit tech and nurse tech? from what i can find a nurse tech is after first rotation of clinicals during nursing school. but i can't find anything on unit tech. each job that i have found under unit tech it's heading is something like this: unit tech (cna)-seiu when i look at the duties performed, it looks just like typical cna stuff... rotating, checking vitals, i/o all that kind of stuff. and it does't require any previous hospital experience, its preferred. w
