Forgive me, I am not a nurse but am looking for advice and thought you all may be able to give me some insight into the health care field.
I will be attending school next month and have narrowed my choices down to 2 programs.
#1: Cardiology Technician: EKG REC and INTERPRETATION, TREADMILL STRESS TESTING, HOLTER MONITORING.
#2: E.N.D.Technology: Monitoring the brain, EEG, SLEEP STUDIES.
I have a good idea what the positions are based on the job descriptions but was hoping you guys could give me your opinion on which job is needed more? Which pays better? Which offers room for more advancement ect.
Thanks a bunch!!

Yet, that is merely a guess. I know in the OR where I use to work an outside EEG Tech would come in to monitor the patients having some neuro-spine procedures. Sorry, don't remember the details. I did get the impression these EEG Techs made a pretty penny.
Hopefully, at least one person from each position you posted will chime in. BTW, it is my understanding allnurses.com promotes the healthcare field in general, not just nurses. IMHO, you are most welcomed here.
