UMSON Spring 2014 wait-listed

I was wait listed for the spring semester and I am certainly grateful for the opportunity but I have to admit that I am also a bit anxious and maybe a little disappointed. It is my hope that by starting this thread, others that are in the same situation can come here to vent and hopefully, eventually, share good news!

I was waitlisted as well for spring 2014. It is my understandjng from the UMSON thread that should we not get in this semester our application rolls to fall.

Hoping to get a call that I'm in before January, nothing to do but patiently wait and consider how I can make myself a stronger applicant for next semester should it come to that.

Stay hopeful, I know I am!

Yes! I am doing the same. I am currently volunteering at a hospital (I was way too busy to do this before) and finishing my last few prerequisites -- which should bump my GPA even higher.

Do you have any idea how long the wait list is?

Grey lady has said that 15-20 students are taken on the shady grove wait list. Shady grove generally admits 45-50 students.

By those numbers I'm assuming Baltimore takes 30+ on the wait list considering they admit 80-90 students in 1st round

Have you received anything in the mail yet? I am eager to take the next steps!

wait listed students don't get anything in the mail as far as I am concerned. We won't get any information until we are accepted should that happen.
