Ultrascope

I am thinking of purchasing an ultrascope. I have a Littmann now and it's just not working for me. How difficult is it to adjust the pressure to hear?? Can you purchase multiple heads?? How long do they last

    I'd like to know this as well. I was bidding on an Ultrascope on eBay, but lost :( . I'm kind of curious about how well they perform. I've never seen one 'in the wild' before, so could never try them out. What kind of Littmann are you using BTW? Usually people have nothing but love for their Littys...

    I have a Littmann Classic II which I was using in clinical but right now I'm working as an EMT until I can find a new grad nursing job and it just isn't doing it for me.

    I see. The only advice I can offer about the Ultrascopes is that some people think they are tough to take BP's with because they have that large acrylic head. That may be an issue for you as an EMT. Then again, somebody else may have a workaround for this. Good luck and keep us all updated with how it turns out!
