ULM RN program

Hi! I completed school to be a scrub and now since I can't find a job, I've decided to follow my true passion. I have finally gotten the guts to apply for pre-nursing at ULM. Has anyone else gone through the program? I start in January. I know they are super picky as to who gets in the nursing program. None of my credits transfer from scrub tech, and I will have to take everything over again. I've taken all of the micros, a&p, psych etc... I will just have to re-take them at ULM.

If you talking about the University of Louisiana at Monroe, I start the professional portion of the program on January 19th. I know this reply is late but as long you focus and study you should be fine. I was a biology major my freshman year and switched to nursing and completed all my pre-nursing classes over the summer and this past fall semester. I ended up with a 3.8 pre-nursing GPA and a 96.37% on the HESI admissions test, so I'm sure you'll do great especially since you are starting off in pre-nursing. The hardest class I had in the pre-reqs was pathophysiology which I took with art appreciation, sociology, developmental psychology, microbiology, microbiology lab, and nursing concepts. You can only take the HESI A2 admissions test once, so make sure you are prepared. Good luck and if you need anything, feel free to PM me. :D
