I was planning on applying to nursing school when we are stateside in 2016 but we just found out we will be moving to Fairbanks Alaska in August 2015 which is great because I can get a head start but I have 3 kids. One will be starting Kindergarten and the other 2 I will be finding a sitter or preschool. I was going to take A&P 1 and micro when I get there this fall but I really dont think it gives me enough time to get us moved and my kiddos all situated before school starts (Military) and the classes are already wait listed. A&P and Micro are the only Pre Reqs I have left and they go by the point system so they are each worth 2 points. Am I maybe better off applying without them and studying really hard for the Pax-RN in hopes of making up the points there? Its so hard having never been there and getting there the month before classes start. This is what I have wanted a long time but its hard moving all over the world and I have my kids to think about. Any other tips or ways to prepare?
