UAB clinicals

I am applying to UAB and would like to know if there are any grads or SRNAs of the program. Specifically, I would like to know about clinicals. In taking advice from this board, I am looking for a program that suits me personally. Some programs require the student do clinicals hundreds of miles from the schools, I've even seen some in another state. To me, this is just asking for more stress on top of what is already stressful. Does UAB require one to do clinicals hundreds of miles away? From looking at the website, it seems most clinicals are in one area depending on which region you choose. Is there a benefit in choosing one region over the other? Would you still have to travel to B'ham for didactics? My goal, after moving across the country, would be to stay put for a couple of years. Any input on experience with lines? Thanks for any info.
