I am trying to apply for Fall 2021 TWU Nursing School at the Dallas campus. I am currently a sophomore at the TWU Denton campus majoring in Nursing, so I have the preference points. Because I do not have the automatic, I am a bit nervous about getting accepted to the nursing program. I know that the Dallas campus is highly competitive, so I wanted ask your opinion if I can get into the program.
Here's my statistics:
Nursing Core GPA & Pre-req GPA (Both): 4.00
TEAS Overall Score: 88.7%
TEAS Reading Section: 87.2%
TEAS Math Section: 96.9%
TEAS Science Section: 83.0%
TEAS English Section: 87.5%
After calculating my admission score with the excel worksheet, my admission score adds up to 70.87 with the preference points included. I am trying to retake my TEAS this upcoming Friday so that I can get my overall score above 90 as well as improving my grades in all sections individually.
I know that my statistics are not bad, but I know for sure that there are other applicants out there with similar statistics, which makes me be afraid that I will not be getting in.
Thank you all in advance!!
