If you are thinking of attending a LPN to RN transition nursing program, please think twice about attending Trinitas. This program is horrible. You are basically on your own; yes on your own. Even if you make it to the last semester don't think you've made it because by the time you get to Psych they are still weeding out. The professor's goal is to fail you, and the school system does not support you. They lie right to your face, and make you promises they know they have no intention of keeping. Once you fail a class in this program, you are not guaranteed a seat in the next class. There are people waiting 2 and 3 years to pick up where they left off. They will tell you not to listen to the rumors, and then you find out the rumors are true, but your already in too deep. They will look you right in the face, and say I can't promise you a seat the next time around, and you only have 3 years from the time you start the nursing classes to complete the program, so at the point you have already completed one year, and only 2 years to complete. Something is wrong with this math. Several of us did not pass the psych class, with only 7 weeks left in the semester to finish and graduate. We made it this far only to fail a class due to unfair testing. Passed clinicals, but clinicals don't count for anything, but PASS OR FAIL. Was advised that their goal is to have students pass the NCLEX with 100%, and clinicals don't really count towards that. So they are passing students that are really not the best nurses just so that they can uphold their 100% passing rate. This is disgraceful.

OMG now im completely nervous i got accepted to the union county college and the trinitas schol of nursings. but it says that the acceptance doesnt necessarily means im getting into clinical courses , why is that? So I wanted to know what should i do i am a transfer student. I need a school without the entrance exam. How hard or easy is it to get into trinitas school of nursing????
It's easy to get into TSON because there is no enterance exam. My original class started out with 38 students, and there are only 12 left from that group. The worst thing about TSON is that you have to fight for everything, and basically teach yourself. It is a lot of hard work which you don't mind, but there is unfairness. Some professors are awesome, others need to hang up their cap.
