Towson Spring 2018 Nursing Application

Hi guys!!! I am applying to the spring 2018 Nursing program at Towson. I Just wanted to start up a place for others to talk about their TEAS scores or anything really.

Just to get the ball rolling, these are my stats:

GPA: 3.85

Science GPA: 3.8

TEAS: 82

I am retaking my TEAS in two days so hopefully I will do at least 2% better.

Oh I'm applying too!

GPA: 3.9

Science GPA: 4.0

TEAS: 86.7, but I'm gonna retake it!

Hope they send out their responses to applications relatively quickly. :)

I am sure both of you will get in ! I wouldn't worry about retaking the teas you already have a good score. I also applied but I heard we won't get letters until like October .

That sucks! I'm so anxious because I only applied to Towson

I applied, too! All of the scores listed here are phenomenal! I've been going back and forth as to whether I should retake the TEAS or not before the deadline. I guess I should. My GPA is a 3.74 and my original TEAS score was an 80%. I guess my biggest fear is maybe getting a score less than my first attempt. It was version V when I took it, and I know it's version VI now. There isn't much difference, but it's been a while. Ugh, I am torn on what to do. Good luck to everyone! I'm so excited and anxious to hear back!

I took the TEAS again this past Thursday! I genuinely feel like I got the same exam as I did the first time, so maybe you'll get an exam similar to your first one! Good luck, and I hope everyone gets accepted!

To be totally honest, I probably wouldn't know the difference, ha. It's been just over 3 years since I took it. I kind of remember what type of material was covered and how it was formatted though, so that's good, I guess. How'd you do this second round?

It'd be great to see you all in person in January when we are ALL accepted. BTW, did anyone here apply to the Hagerstown location?

I did not apply to Hagerstown.

Hi guys, I also apply for spring program my GPA 3.4. My science GPA is 3.2 and my Teas score is 70%, but I give it a shot, base on my teas score I'm a little worried/ nervous.

Anybody got email from Townson yet.

Hi,

Did u hear anything from the Towson yet regarding your application..

I applied on Aug 4, so nervous. They didn't send me any email yet.

I got an email saying my application was complete

I got an email a few weeks ago stating I was missing two pieces of info (that I was still waiting on), and nothing since. I called last week to make sure they received everything after I had sent the last of it, but she said they would email after Ms. Necker got through the huge stack on her desk --to be sure-- next week. I may call today or tomorrow to verify since I haven't heard anything.
