Hi,
I took my NCLEX-RN exam last Friday in the State of MS but there is no way I'd find out the result sooner but if I fail, I will receive a brown envelope today but if not, I guess, I passed. The computer stopped at 252Q. It was really very hard and I had a very bad headache after the test. I didn't have any calculations at all and the questions were very long...Who should you see first, multidisciplinary conference but I noticed that I was answering 5-6 priority questions then 1 specific question. Does this mean, I did fine? Please, I need anyone's input on this matter. I stopped working to prepare for this exam. I started studying on the 5th of January for 2 hours everyday and used the Kaplan Prep in the Box. My scores were 60% or so. This is my 4th time. I passed the LPN in MI 3 years ago. Please respond

Hi you two,
Things are looking pretty dim right now, but you will have what it takes to pass when you are ready to try again. Let yourself feel down for a while, as long as it takes and then get up each morning and tell yourself "I can do this. I will work hard, give it 100% and I will pass the NCLEX." Pep talk yourself. Pray if you get nervous. Do whatever it takes, but don't give up.
I went through the same devistation my 2nd attempt at the NCLEX. But then I started a new review, studied my butt off every day for about 6 weeks and kept telling myself I would pass. When the time came to take it, my confidence was so much higher than the last time and I passed. It was because I calmed myself when I realized I DESERVED to pass from all the hard work.
You may feel this way now, but you will feel even more so the next time. Some people, like me, just don't test well. I learned so much about myself in those horrible 6 months I had to wait. Give yourself the time, and you will see what I mean.
God Bless,
JacelRN

Hi, Jacel,
Thank you so much for lifting my spirits. I started studying again this Monday and still reviewing kaplan. So far, my tests are higher than 3 months ago. Hope this will be it. I am so tired to studying and going to a test center. Please pray for me.

HI,
I took the NCLEX yesterday. Thus far I had been getting about 150 questions each time. This will be my fourth time taking the test. I only had 79 questions. I am so nervous. I could not eat at all today, and I have been in an ill mood. I cannot remember any of my questions. I do remember that I only had one growth and development and then the last question was about hepatic encephelopothy diet. I do not know what to do. It is good to know that I have people to talk to who are in the same boat.

It sounds like you are in good shape knowing that you have been getting 150 questions before but don't get me wrong...anything can happen. Hang in there. Hope you pass!!!. I am taking my 5th one in April. God Bless.
