Hi,
I graduated from the LPN program 12/09. I recently took Hurst Review. I think it is really awesome for content. I am considering Kaplan because it focuses on questions. I just want to pass. I welcome any tips you may have. I have been making flash cards from Hurst but it feels like everything is important. So it's taking me way too long to do one subject. I want to take my Nclex exam by the end of the month.. I have no one to study with which people say that helps a lot. Some of them have put Nclex on hold and focused on there previous jobs before school. :confused:Any advice, please help. Feeling Overwhelmed.
Thanks,
Wanna be a nurse now!

Stay focus, you have to have determination and dedication and most importantly you understand what you are reading. In my opinion whatever materials you are using, the key to success is your ability to understand what has been read. Believe it or not, I studied from 6 am to 11 pm for like a month (2-3 hrs rest in between). I've never studied like this in my whole life but if you really want something, you have to make some sacrifices. You got to believe that you can do it and you will. Goodluck!

You don't have to overstudy (information overload)
NCLEX is about how well you apply information and answer questions.
I would recommend you focus on practice questions now. No need to pay for a review, most NCLEX practice books are available at your local library or online for about $30....
