Tip on how to pass Nursing school

Published

So I have officially passed nursing school!!! It feels so unreal. I have had a lot of things happen through out the course of school, some of which held me back. Starting school in Jan 2013 and after failing my second semester and having to get back in I did not think I would make it out. But I kept going giving it my all, I was always very good in clinical but I did not know how to answer test questions. I buckled down and practice and never gave up. So my advice to those who are struggling please don't give up, keep going, don't take no for an answer. This feeling is unexplainable and I know I wont feel like a nurse until I pass boards but with determination the sky is the limit.

**How I changed my study habit,

I found out what my learning style was ( I am a reader writer) so I was studying the wrong way for 2 years)

I re wrote all power points and notes given to me, on top of putting those notes on flash cards as well. I gave myself time to study flashcards. My test grades went from low C's barley passing to high B's. Hope this helps.

Congratulations. Good luck on your NCLEX.:nurse:

Great tips! Recently passed my self. I think knowing your learning style is key. I personally am a visual learner. Diagrams, drawings, videos to color coded notes helps me along the way.
