Tweety that's an awful lot to deal with at once, understandable your needing to delay things. I hope they can get your mom stable and your AC fixed

Hi Ado

Dianah I've heard of that book, will have to consider putting it on my list

NJ22 I had the same when the air quality got bad here

Stars glad you got set up with a PCP and got the refills

Was better at work yesterday, still busy but no new cases and the side project didn't take as long as I had thought. Had time to work ahead for today. Rest of the day was pretty quiet, had a Zoom meeting with one of my groups and exercised and relaxed. Have been re-watching episodes of Third Rock From the Sun, which I still like after all these years

Today have the side project at work again today, though the other tasks are lighter than usual, or will be unless I get a new case. After work have a happy hour event with the gay group, will see how many people will show up, attendance can be quite variable

Will be a bit cooler today, upper 70s with rain expected

I always enjoyed watching Third Rock From The Sun; when it was running the first time, it was considered our "Must-See TV". Very odd and funny!

I have given myself an hour online to get my laundry done and then I will get my room cleaned, straightened out and better organized. Have about 12 minutes left until I begin the dreaded task. I will have to MAKE MYSELF do it, as everything is completely out of hand!

J overloads the laundry every time and it takes 2-3 cycles for her loads to dry. I will have to remove it from the dryer so I can dry my stuff, then I will put hers back to dry some more.

A niece may be coming this afternoon to take J to her PT appt., and I have been forewarned that "she may be bringing her LARGE dogs" ....maybe three of them? But they will be put in the back yard when J and niece leave for PT appt. One of the dogs had a bad infection of a tooth, an abscess which caused its face to swell to the point it had swelling around the eyes! That news made me feel kind of angry that someone would let a dog's health get so bad to that point. But the girl (young woman) told me the other day that her own teeth were really bad, and since I went through the same thing with myself, with severe, years-long dental avoidance, I can't say much. But for a dog to have swollen eyes due to a dental abscess, GRRRRRR. Dogs don't get to make those bad decisions for themselves, so the owner shouldn't be allowed to own animals. She is also the one who has that most adorable and cheerful little baby-boy, who, I am informed, has started walking and getting into everything. I hope she takes better care of the kid than she takes of her animals. She is also the one whose kayak fills the garage here, and she can't take it home because she already has a kayak and 2 canoes, so she has nowhere to put it. I swear, some people's children! Does she ever USE the kayaks and canoes? I dunno, but I have seen on one of those HGTV shows where one of the guys built a canoe holder, kind of like a giant shoe-rack, to be able to store all of them in a smaller space.

Okay, that's my grousing for the day. Times up! Must get to work on the task at hand!
