Thoughts,Ideas and Help

Hello all, for some reson i had to redo my sign in and name so i like a nnobie :). I have been out of work for the last 14 months due to back and foot injuries and medical conditions. Each is fairly severe, another back surgery next month. Im currently receiving disability thank god, but there is no way Im giving up and saying this is asgood as it gets. I have my bsn and have done almost everything in the behavioral health field; all floor positions nurse manager, case manager out ptient team leader, even behavioralnhelth care line manager for Veterans affairs. My medical concerns came at a blessing of a time as I was burning the candle at noth ends, the middle and all sides. Mental/behavioral health is my passion and the field I want to stay in.

I havent been a trditional nurse in any way. I have been in management and crisis intervention for most of my professional career. As i look to the next 12-18 months of post surgery rehab Id like to complete my msters. Im stuck as to where to go and in what direction. i begn my masters in Nuraing eduction as I was n djuct instructor for 2 colleges as well, but the focus beigin medical base just was "work" I had no sprk or drive. my grade were great but i was going through the motions. So i guess im asking for ny advice on online programs, different fields others have tried, any crossover socil workers? Im looking for online programs. sorry for the rambling

I noticed that your "A" key isn't fully working. Perhaps that is why you're having account problems?

As far as what to do...if you are not happy doing nursing education, then stop before you drop any more time or money into it. Take a while to decide exactly where you want to go with your degree. If you don't want to feel like you're wasting time while you're in rehab, then maybe take the more general nursing courses and put off the specialization courses until you've made a final decision.
