Third Semester...Please Help

Published

Hello to all,

Here I am in my third semester three weeks in. First test this past Thursday with med surg II, I did not pass. It was over the cardiovascular chapters. I felt prepared for the test but it went otherwise. I also have OB this semester. I read all the assigned chapters and then follow up with the chapters with my powerpoints. I do practice exams online with the books website. PLEASE PLEASE help me with what I can do with to pull me back up. I only have one more semester and I graduate. This is my DREAM. I am not giving up!

thanks to all!

I think since you are doing your ADN and will be done in less than a year, it would be good to buy an nclex review book and try and do the questions on the chapters you will cover in the exam. Are you using Smeltzer for you med-surg? If so the book comes with a CD that has the nclex 3000 on it and you can put it on your computer and use that as a review as well. I am in my final year in a BSN myself, and I have realize most of my exams questions are nclex level. Doing this will help and also help you start reviewing for the nlex. There are free links to the nclex 4000 on the "NCLEX Discussion Forum as well". I like the Davis success series as well becuase it is a great review, I also like saunders.

GOOD luck:hrnsmlys:

Thank you so much! Yes, I do have smeltzer's. I went by the bookstore and was looking at the NCLEX review books they were so HUGE lol, and plus I wanted to make sure that I got a pretty decent one that will help with questions. Good Luck to you as well. Thanks for the reply!
