I've been hired prn with Gentiva and when my commitment to the hospital ends in 6 months I may say goodbye to critical care. 2.5 years is about all I think I can handle. It was a great experience and I believe it will look good on a resume but who needs that kind of stress. From everything I've read on this site home health sounds a lot less stressful (your worst day in home health is better than your best day in the hospital :) ) and I think it will even pay more. The fear that I had before coming to this site was that I'd lose my skills that I had fought so hard for these past 2 years. I've heard some nurses give home health a bad rap for that but from what I saw on here and what I was told in my interview I think I'll be learning a lot and gaining even more skills. I love to learn new things and it seems that I will get a lot of oppurtunities in HH. Thanks again:wavey:
