TEAS test science portion

Published

I have to take the TEAS test as a final step for admittance on July 11th. I purchased the Kaplan nursing school entrance exam study guide. My concern is about the science. Is this study guide sufficient? Ive never taken any physics or chemistry classes. Ive been studying pretty hard for the past few days but I just dont feel that Im absorbing as much as I should. Does anyone have any pointers? Am I wasting my time with all of this DNA stuff or should I keep focusing on that?

What I realized is that i only had about 2 questions to do with anatomy, about 5 questions to do with Chemistry, and then there was a lot on metric conversions and earth science. I never took a physics test either, and I did completely fine. However, I would keep studying up on chemistry and DNA proteins because I do vividly remember there being one chart on the DNA proteins that you had to answer a question about. I hope this helps.
