Teas adjusted score: 91.3%

I got an "exemplary" mark on my teas and wanted to offer up any advice on what resources I used to prepare.

First and foremost, take the toughest teachers at your school. I feel like the ones with the worst reputations were the ones that taught me my study skills.

It actually helped that I am a single mother because nothing motivates me more than the fear of not succeeding.

The birth of my son unleashed my inner perfectionist/ knowledge junkie that I never knew lived within me.

Now I'm in my last semester of prerequisites and feel like I need to offer any encouragement/ advice to another single mom who is intimidated to start the journey of being a science major.

Lean on God for support. All the good things God has given me are NOT for me, they are for me to share with others . Just trust and work hard and you will not be let down.

Maintain an attitude of gratitude. There are many many things to be grateful for, start with the most basic, rudimentary things like a bed to sleep in, running water, healthy children....

One more thing.... intelligence has very little to do with success. It's all hard work. Hard work will get you where you want to be.

Thank you all again! Continue using your unique gifts to inspire others.
